Document Solution Consultant

Position Description:

Responsible for architecting, deploying and managing project implementations of DataServ’s Software as a Service (SaaS) document management solution. The DSC works closely with new and existing US and international DataServ clients as well as various internal departments to implement our solution, often managing several projects simultaneously. Typical responsibilities include creation of the Scope of Work document, business requirements analysis, solution design and implementation, test plan creation and execution, process documentation and management of miscellaneous project deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete implementation projects within budgeted hours while meeting or exceeding DataServ quality standards and client expectations.
  • Interface with the entire DataServ implementation team, including various internal departments and all levels of management.
  • Create and maintain system and process documentation and perform knowledge transfer to Client Service and Technical Support team members.
  • Participate in product development efforts to broaden DataServ’s core service offerings.
  • Develop and maintain current technical, consulting and document management knowledge-base by attending industry-related user group meetings, vendor training and seminars.

Qualification and Requirements:

  • Strong blend of technical aptitude, project management and communication skills.
  • Experience with direct client interaction.
  • Experience managing small projects.
  • Experience with system testing and documentation.
  • Document management experience helpful.
  • Thorough understanding of full application development lifecycle.
  • Strong skills in data querying and manipulation using SQL.
  • Limited travel (5-20%)
  • Web technology exposure (ASP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, XML, etc.) is a plus.
  • Master’s degree/MBA is a strong plus.
