Java Web Developer (Open)
Position Description:
DataServ is a pioneering SaaS (Software as a Service) company specializing in document and process automation. Delivering best practice solutions tailored to our client's needs more rapidly and cost effectively than is possible with traditional software, you’ll be working on engines that will power DataServ’s next generation SaaS platform.
We have an opening for a Java software developer who enjoys building leading edge web based applications. We’re looking for a highly motivated developer with one to three years of hands on Java programming experience. You will be a critical member of a small team using agile based processes to create our software systems. You should enjoy the challenge of learning and applying new tools and technologies to solve our business problems.
The other developers on the team are very experienced and will mentor you in areas where you do not have experience. You will be working with an OSGi based document repository system and a GWT application to create the next generation of DataServ’s services. The development and production environments use Linux, Tomcat and PostgreSQL systems. Some of our development tools are: Eclipse, Maven, Mercurial, Java, Hudson, Sonar, WebDriver, GWT and Ext GWT.
